Hmmmm...a blog.

Hmmmm...a blog. Right. Because there aren't enough of those around. Then, I read a friend's...poignant, touching, present. I have things to contribute, say, offer complaints or kudos, and like many, I have plenty to bitch about. Do I really want it to be a place for me to vent? Or, rather, someplace to offer information, support, consolation, expertise? 

Personally, I read informational blogs, when they come to my attention. I don't really actively seek them out. Do they offer me something? Sure. Are there people out there looking for help, answers, support, even a shoulder to lean on? Yes. I have wanted that, many times. I have friends,associates, colleagues in my same position. I have wanted to commiserate, but really I was looking for the structure and solid advice that anyone needs.  

So, I named mine after a movie quote that hits me EVERY time, but I never remember it until I hear it again. In the movie, "The Gladiator," near the very beginning..."What we do in life...echoes in eternity." This speaks to me. As a woman, daughter, sister, wife, mother, teacher, manger...we all echo. 

So begins my venture into the blogging forum. It promises to be an interesting, and bumpy, ride.
